Not one, but three of Ireland’s top racecourses throws open the challenge to fulfill your dreams on their most select racing days in aid of the most worthy of causes – Irish Injured Jockeys.
Limited to amateur riders the challenge is to maintain the fitness and drive of a jockey by competing in a points system set across three race courses, over a four month period :
- The Curragh on Sunday 16th July to ride a distance of 12 furlongs, run over the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby course ''Kilboy Estate Stakes''
- Gowran Park on Saturday 16th September the ''Denny Cordell Lavarack and Landwades Stakes day'' a distance of 12 furlongs, graduates of this course Harzand, Lagatissimo and Henrythenavigator all went on to win classic races.
- Leopardstown on Sunday 22nd October, ''Killavullan Stakes Day'', a distance of 10 furlongs over the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes course
This is an endurance test with a difference with your dedication and commitment rewarded by being able to say your rode the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby course, the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes course and in Gowran Park Racecourse on a Group 3 race day.
